The Game Boy Advance is an interesting console for me personally. When I was growing up, I didn't have one in the traditional sense. My first DS model had a slot for GBA games, but I never used it.
My primary introduction to the GBA was with the Nintendo 3DS Ambassador Program when I was in elementary school. I won't include any of the games included with the program in this collection, since I didn't own them physically, but it's an important part of my life. I loved WarioWare, and remember playing it during dinner time!
On top of this, when I was in middle school, I was given my own phone, and I quickly discovered the wacky world of emulation. I primarily used GBA4iOS at that time, and loved every second of it. This is where I played the GBA the most growing up. I played a lot of Pokemon rom hacks in class.
And eventually, on one fateful day in high school, I was searching through my parent's office, and I found an old, dusty GBA SP, with a game inside it. That game was Metroid: Zero Mission, and after beating the game, I would begin collecting GBA games.
