Ahhh, the Nintendo Entertainment System.
The NES is an amazingly simple console, and an absolute favorite of mine. It was my first retro console I ever added to my collection. I believe it was when I was in middle school, where I was getting super into retro gaming, I would ask everyone in my family if they had any kind of games I could have. One day, when I was at my great aunt's house, I brought up how my grandma didn't have her Nintendo anymore. Then, all of a sudden, she came out with a dusty NES and about 10 or so games. It was everything a kid would ever want. Every Mario game, Duck Hunt, Mighty Bomb Jack, Tennis. I could go on, and I did.
I would invite friends over to play Contra, try and fail at playing Duck Hunt on a LCD TV. It was a blast.
Unfortunately, this NES seems to be on it's last legs. It struggles to read games, and apparently that's a common issue with this model of NES. I hope to one day repair it.
