Cyndaquil was my first Pokemon ever, I remember getting Pokemon: Heart Gold for Christmas in 2009. I was really young, so I named myself "ASH" (because I thought I had to.) and found myself dissapointed that I couldn't get a Pikachu. But that disappointment would fade as I found myself getting lost in Johto, exploring with my Cyndaquil. It was bliss.

Ever since then, Cyndaquil has been one of my favorite Pokemon ever. Which is why when I stumbled upon the Pokemon Safari Center, I decided to try my hand at getting a cool Pokemon for my webpage. On my first catch, I found Cyndaquil. I thought it was destiny, so I named him appropriately, and put him on this webpage.

Also known as the Smiling Tree Frog or Dumpy Tree Frog due to the nature of its appearance, this frog is a very hardy creature and a favorite pet of amateur frog owners, although some pet owners complain that they are not active enough. These frogs love to eat, which can make them quite fat, hence their "dumpy" appearance. Unlike many frogs, these frogs do well with other frogs of their species and are fairly friendly. They like a warm and moderately humid habitat and eat larger insects like crickets, cockroaches, locusts, moths and beetles.
