Day 3

First game today was really odd, there were no mics due to a bug. I was in a duo with a player on the esport team.
It was very hard to do anything as Viper without comms, but we had B site locked down on defense thanks to my smokes, and the enemies only won whenever they hit A site.
Overall, we went 6-6 at halftime, then we did very well on attacking.
I think we could’ve done better if we had mics.
Also, I’m gonna start counting if we have any instalock Reyna’s on our side, because I’m noticing a pattern with them...

This game sucked.
Throughout the entire game the enemy Omen and Jett kept one tapping our team through smokes. Not just spraying and getting lucky, blindly shooting directly into my forehead through my smoke.
They also hit whatever site I was on the hardest every round on defense. Throwing all utility at me if I was in a position to surprise them as if they knew I was there.
My teammate noted that they would hit running headshots at her a lot.
Needless to say, I think the enemy team was cheating. Which sucked because I didn’t get the chance to do ANYTHING for the entire game.

Day 6

I took a little break because the new Fortnite season dropped and I lost myself in nostalgia. Also, my mom visited me over the weekend and it was very nice.

I’m writing this before the game even starts,
There’s an instalock Reyna,
This actively brings my mood down.
Atleast they have comms.

Alright, game aftermath: Really close game overall, I think we mostly lost because our Reyna left the game halfway through Attacking, but we ended attacker side 6-6.
I did my best on Defending for this map, but man it’s really demotivating to be back to silver again. Well, there’s only one cure for this feeling.

Instalock Reyna. Has 0 kills by round 6.
Team had no mics except for a really angry Breach.
We ended up surrendering because it was evident that nobody wanted to be there.
I ended up top fragging right next to the Breach, we both went 7:11
The Reyna ended by telling us to uninstall when she was still at the bottom of the leaderboard with 1 kill.

Overall, I really can’t win with dumbass teammates.

First thing that happened was that my teammate stole my Brimstone, but they were nice about it and said it was okay if I played Astra.
This game was amazing, great communication on defense, and we decided to play for lineups on B on attack. We won every round on attack because of that.
The lineups were as follows:

• KJ Molly (x2)
• Astra pull (off tap)
• Brimstone molly lineup (right when astra pull ends)

This was so oppressive that they couldn’t do anything.

Team MVP on a loss really hurts when you are a smoke main. During my teachings I was told the infamous parable: “If you’re top fragging as smokes, your team sucks.”
Hence why I think I lost this game. Our team just wasn’t getting any kills unless it was me.
Besides that, comms were fine, my lineups worked when my team was alive to back me up, etc. etc.
This’ll be my last game for the night. Tomorrow, I’ll actually code this whole page instead of writing in a google doc.

Day 7

Ah, it feels good to be back in gold, I started coding this page today and preemptively guessed I would stay in Silver 3 for today, glad I was wrong but now I need to create a whole new graphic!
This game was very good overall, I told my team I was sick right off the bat, but I still gave comms through pings and text chat when able. My smokes were on point on defense, but my aim was even better. I remember always being at the top of the leaderboard for the entire game thanks to the CHAMPIONS 2021 Vandal & Karambit glow.
My teammates were all gold rank, it feels good to play with teammates that are closer to my skill level, even if I’m lower rank. I think I gained so much RR because I top fragged at the lowest rank.

Our Reyna was utterly useless this game, single digit kills and used flashes at the worst time. But, that’s what you get with instalock Reyna I guess.
Besides that, we were okay on defending, but we were pretty good on attacking.
Sucks to end this week on a loss, but I need to get to work now.
